First Down Dash, the epitome of excellence, is a horse that has aspired to greatness in every aspect of his career. As a racehorse, he was a dominant force. In two seasons he earned 857,000 dollars, winning 13 of 15 races including eight stakes and placed second only once by a head. In his finale, he entered against the best horses in the nation. He achieved ‘the pinnacle’ when he won the Champion of Champions ( BETA tape #4 2:55:20 – 3:03:00 ) … a remarkable feat for a 3 year-old.
In my own words
Inspired by authors who have the ability to bring me directly into the story with their perfectly chosen words, I too, seek to paint a picture using my own style while thoroughly enjoying the journey which goes along with learning about each new topic and the people involved.
